About
What Home Tax Ally is
Home Tax Ally helps Florida property owners answer one question with public data — is a property tax appeal worth filing on this parcel? — and prepares the evidence for the ones where the answer is yes.
The product, in one paragraph
For a flat $199, we prepare an evidence report for your specific parcel: what the county assessment roll says, and how your assessed value scores against recent comparable sales adjusted for recorded square footage when supported, documented flood location, age-based condition signals and any recent sale (recorded size adjusts the sales comparison; it is not a separate score) — organized so you can review it and file your own petition. You stay the petitioner. We prepare evidence; the decision and the filing are yours.
How it works, start to finish
- Run the free check. We scan your county’s public assessment roll and show you what the data says about your area — no email wall, no card.
- If the parcel looks worth it, order the report — $199 flat, disclosed at checkout, charged by Stripe.
- We prepare your evidence report from the public roll and comparable sales, with every figure traced to its source.
- You review it and decide. Florida gives you 25 days from the date on your TRIM Notice to petition the Value Adjustment Board — that clock is state law, and it is the only deadline we ever quote.
- If the answer is no, we say no. Telling you an appeal is not worth filing is a real outcome of the check, and it costs you nothing.
What we are not
- Not a law firm, and not a substitute for one. Home Tax Ally does not give legal or tax advice, does not represent you, and does not file anything on your behalf.
- Not a contingency firm. We do not take a percentage of your savings — the fee is $199 whether your assessment moves or not.
- Not a promise of an outcome. The Value Adjustment Board decides every petition, and some appeals result in no change at all.
- Not a phone line. Everything happens in writing, on purpose — the contact page explains why.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure we show you traces to a public record: your county Property Appraiser’s assessment roll and recorded comparable sales. We name the source next to the number, so you can check every one of them yourself before you file — the same standard this site holds itself to.
The company behind it
