Home Tax Ally is a trading name of Arthur Kitchen Holdings LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, registered address 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, US. In this document, "we", "us" and "Home Tax Ally" mean that company. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your card statement as ARTHUR KITCHEN.
1. Data We Collect
We collect your email address, and optionally your property address, county, and property account number, plus your IP address, when you submit a form or create an account. We do not collect phone numbers. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — see section 9.
2. How We Use Data
To communicate about the service, process payments, generate personalized property reports, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use minimal first-party cookies for authentication and for tracking the marketing source that referred you (UTM parameters), stored in a cookie named _hta_utm for 30 days. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate, product-level analytics — page views, funnel steps (viewing a report, starting checkout, completing a purchase), and campaign attribution. GA4 events sent by this site never include your name, email, phone number, or property address; they carry only technical/aggregate identifiers such as an internal account reference, order amount, currency, and marketing-campaign tags. We do not use ad-network pixels or retargeting.
4. Email Communications
We use Brevo (Brevo SAS, based in France, EU) to deliver all email this site sends — service messages about a transaction you started (your receipt, your report, and replies to your requests) and, only if you explicitly ticked the consent box, marketing messages such as guidance about appeal deadlines. For this Brevo receives your email address and, when you provide them, your county and first name. Separately, Omnisend records page views on this site so those marketing messages can be relevant. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service messages about an order you placed.
5. Live Chat
The chat widget on this site is Chatwoot, a support tool we run ourselves on our own server — it is not a third party that resells or shares your data. Opening the chat sends it your IP address, a session identifier for your visit, and whatever you type into the conversation. We use this only to answer you; it is not used for advertising and is not shared with Brevo, Omnisend, or GA4.
6. Data Retention
Lead entries are retained for up to 12 months. Active account data is retained while your account is open plus 2 years after closure, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (TLS) and stored on servers we operate ourselves, hosted in the European Union (Germany), with access restricted to the people running this service. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not hand it to advertising networks.
9. Payment Data
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never store it. What we keep is the fact of the order: an internal reference, the amount, the currency, and the email address you paid with, so we can deliver your report and support you afterwards.
10. Property Information
Assessment values, parcel details and comparable sales used in our analysis come from public county records and public data sources. That information is already public; we combine and analyse it. Anything you give us directly — your address, email or phone — is treated as personal data under the sections above.
